Aidan Connolly is the founder and CEO of Idiro Analytics. Anne-Marie has over 20 years’ experience in the global investment environment with IDA Ireland, working across a number of key roles in Ireland and abroad.    Anne-Marie took up her current position as Department Manager, Technology and Emerging Business, in October 2021. Prior to this role, she held positions as Department Manager, Regional Development, Director of Europe, based in Paris and Project Manager in the Technology Division.  Anne-Marie is a Law graduate and holds an MSc in International Marketing, as well as being an Associate Practitioner of the European Chartered Institute of Marketing.

John Byrne is founder and CEO of Corlytics, responsible for setting the company’s vision and strategy. He is a serial entrepreneur in the financial technology sector, John has built and sold a number of global technology-based enterprises. He co-founded one of the first campus companies in Ireland in 1985 in the energy technology sector and built Information Mosaic in 1997, a global player in the securities software industry which was sold to Markit in 2015. He set up Corlytics to provide real regularly risk intelligence. Following a tsunami of global regulation arrived for the financial markets in 2009, John realised there was no joined up intelligence and predictive analytics to help the banks, regulators and their advisors make informed decisions. Corlytics was formed in 2013 and today is the global leader in regulatory risk intelligence. John is a frequent speaker at industry events and has spoken at events such as SIBOS and NEMA. He has also spoken at many other conferences on operational and systemic risk and more recently at RegTech Summits in London and New York. John is a graduate of Stanford Business School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.

Noelle Doody is a leader in Accenture’s Applied Intelligence practice in Ireland, with a particular focus on utilities and consumer goods. Noelle holds a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc. In Business Analytics from UCD. Noelle has held a variety of roles both in Consulting and Industry including Head of Data and Analytics in SSE Airtricity and Senior Manager in Accenture’s Centre of Excellence for Fraud and Non-compliance analytics. Noelle has led analytics projects across a number of industries (utilities, public services, financial services, consumer goods) and subject areas (customer analytics, operational analytics, optimisation, forecasting and financial modelling).

Dr Allan Kearns is Head of Analytics within Financial Supervision in the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).  He oversees the extraction of insights from regulatory reporting and market sources to enhance the Central Bank’s monitoring and risk assessment of regulated financial services firms.  Prior to this role, Allan has held a number of roles including Deputy Chief Risk Officer, International Relations and Economist.   Allan lectures on risk management topics domestically and internationally, including corporate governance and culture. He is board chair of the Asthma Society of Ireland.

Alessandra is passionate in advanced analytics, machine learning, and computational models with the focus of transferring innovation from research to products. As Ambassador of Women in AI Ireland (a nonprofit do-tank working towards gender-inclusive AI that benefits global society) Alessandra is building a strong community of women and minorities in Ireland by providing means for growing knowledge and expertise in AI thanks to the strong support of  the government, academia and private enterprises. In her previous appointment Alessandra was Head of Analytics Research at Nokia Bell Labs where she was leading research teams in several locations and developing a successful strategy for the Data Analytics division while driving changes across different activities like her contributions to the Nokia AI Ethics Advisory Board.

Gurchand is currently the Chief Information Officer for the Department of Justice and Equality, responsible for the development of technology, analytics and research. Prior to this role, Gurchand established the Garda Síochána Analysis Service which provided strategic and operational analytics to support policing in Ireland. Gurchand arrived to this position from the UK, where he worked in the Home Office in a variety of roles, including Programme Director for Crime and Drugs Analysis and Research.

Declan McEvoy is CEO of FinTech start-up Coalface Capital. The mission is to apply AI to the Investment Management arena. He has spent his career in the Investment Banking FICC area, working in Sales & Trading at Chase, BarCap and UBS and holding management positions at Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank. He holds a BBS from DCU and an MBA from London Business School.

John O’Gorman is Principal Technology Officer – Cybersecurity & Data Analytics with S3 Connected Health.   John has worked for Microsoft, Symantec, and multiple medtech companies over the years. Recently, his focus has been on technologies that will drive improvements in patient care.
