In the middle of 2021, we decided to refresh our “demonstrator projects” program to a new program called the “lighthouse projects” to ensure we will provide CeADAR members with better value in introducing emerging or less well-understood technology areas and approaches.
We ran the 1st season of programme with two projects on Self-supervised Learning (SSL) and Privacy-preserving Machine Learning (PPML). Over the six-month course of the projects, we provided our valuable members with a diverse range of content and resources, including brainstorming workshops, one-on-one meetings, quick video tutorials, technical demonstrators, technical discussions, hands-on courses, and a community to accumulate all these together.
We are delighted to see members’ interest and engagement in these projects. Following this success, we are running the 2nd season of lighthouse projects on two topics:
– Data Analytics and Machine Learning on Graphs/Networks
– AI in Digital Twins in the Industry
Below you can see the list of all projects, the previous, current, and the future topics.
We are delighted to see members’ interest and engagement in fulfilled lighthouse projects. Following this success, we are running the 2nd season of lighthouse projects on the following two topics:
– Data Analytics and Machine Learning on Graphs/Networks
– AI in Digital Twins in the Industry
These projects started in Jan 2023 and will continue over the next six months by the end of June 2023. Please come along and join the CeADAR membership programme, if interested, and enjoy this journey with a diverse range of content and resources, including brainstorming workshops, one-on-one meetings, quick video tutorials, technical demonstrators, technical discussions, hands-on courses, and a community to accumulate all these together.
We have finished a couple of projects and are currently working on a couple more, but there is still a lot to do in the coming lighthouse project programme seasons. The followings are a list of a few topics we have already brainstormed and ideated on. Please feel free to contact us and discuss if you see there are ideas for collaboration on those. If you have other ideas to collaborate on, please feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Back in Oct of 2021, we started the first season of our recently refreshed “lighthouse projects” programme, formerly known as the “demonstrator projects” program, with two emerging projects on Self-supervised Learning (SSL) and Privacy-preserving Machine Learning (PPML) in parallel.
Over the six-month course of the projects, we served our valuable members with a diverse range of content and resources, including brainstorming workshops, one-on-one meetings, quick video tutorials, technical demonstrators, technical discussions, hands-on courses, and a community to accumulate all these together.
Below you can see the list of all fulfilled projects. To access all the projects’ resources, you need to join the CeADAR membership programme, which will provide you with a broader range of services beyond the lighthouse projects.

Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning
As we rebranded the new iteration of the CeADAR demonstrators' program, we have followed the lighthouse approach where the primary objective is to educate the member companies about new technologies and help them adopt these technologies into their businesses. . . . -
Self-supervised Learning
we started the lighthouse project's season one with a project around "Semi-supervised and Self-supervised learning (SSL)". The project, in the beginning, aimed to educate businesses on these emerging two areas of AI and inform them about their potential commercial applications. . . .
Submit Your Topics for Lighthouse Projects
We are looking for additional suggestions for relevant areas of interest for the Lighthouse projects. Please submit your ideas below, and we will collate all suggestions and follow up to gather interest from all CeADAR members to prioritise which suggestions will become projects.
