Who We Are

About CeADAR

We are Ireland’s Centre for Applied AI, a not-for-profit centre of innovation and applied R&D in AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics. We work with a range of organisations, including startups and scaleups, established businesses, government and public sector, research and academia to enable them adopt and leverage the value of AI and machine learning.

The centre sits as the bridge between the worlds of applied research in AI and its commercial deployment. CeADAR was established in 2013 and is based within University College Dublin operating at national and international level. We are funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA.

Our Expertise

CeADAR’s technical staff includes a blend of both AI and data scientists with academic and industry backgrounds. Our team has the unique combination of strong academic credentials, research experience, deep knowledge of their specialities, along with the experience of developing applied solutions.

Industry Experience

AI is applicable and incredibly valuable across all industry sectors and we are fortunate to work across multiple industry verticals including manufacturing, financial services, energy, agriculture, legal, health, logistics, the arts and media. We have an extensive ecosystem and network of companies, technology centres and academic bodies across Ireland and Europe that we work with and support.
