European Big Data Value Forum 2026

The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) is taking place from 30 September – 1 October in Galway, Ireland in collaboration with CeADAR.
Under the main theme “Building Europe’s AI and Data backbone: Strategy, Investment and Impact”, EBDVF will bring together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI.
The programme will include the most important topics of the community, presented by our members, collaboration partners and representatives from European research and innovation projects. We are looking at the core elements of our ecosystem’s development, essential to reaching Europe’s ambition of becoming an AI continent: strategy, investment and impact. Together, we are delivering sessions and workshops shaping the way forward for big data and data spaces, illuminating how businesses can harness the power of Trustworthy AI and discuss the role of high-performance computing as an enabler for digital transformation. We take a comprehensive view of these topics from the perspective of many European economic sectors, without forgetting the societal implications of the rapidly advancing technologies.
EBDVF 2026 will be organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), in collaboration with CeADAR – Ireland’s Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence, Dell Technologies, F6S Network, Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics, Innovation Value Institute – Maynooth University and RFSAT Limited – Research for Science Art and Technology.
