Radmol AI develops advanced quality assurance AI technologies to enhance radiology by reducing diagnostic errors and delays, aiming to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone by leveraging large datasets and cutting-edge tools to support accurate medical decision-making.

CeADAR Ireland, in partnership with Radmol AI and eSteps, has developed a groundbreaking solution in AI healthcare with the Cancer AI Diagnosis project. This initiative focuses on early detection of colorectal and lung cancers, demonstrating CeADAR’s dedication to using advanced technology to tackle critical healthcare issues. The team created a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that utilizes a sophisticated AI model to analyze medical data and assess cancer risks. Built with a reliable system architecture, the MVP includes a Python/Django backend and a Postgres database, along with a user-friendly interface. This design ensures that medical professionals can easily use the system while allowing for future enhancements and wider adoption.

The project significantly advances AI in medical diagnostics, highlighting CeADAR’s role in technological innovation. A major feature is the AI model’s ability to identify important clinical patterns in patient data, improving diagnostic accuracy. CeADAR’s efforts to handle complex datasets have led to a more precise cancer prediction model. The project also established a reliable process for deploying updates using Azure Pipelines and Docker. Looking ahead, CeADAR plans to enhance the system by including additional data types, such as medical images, and expanding its ability to predict more medical conditions. The Cancer AI Diagnosis project is a prime example of CeADAR’s vision to transform healthcare through innovative AI solutions, ultimately benefiting patient outcomes worldwide. In recognition of these contributions, Radmol AI was honoured with the CeADAR Award for AI in Healthcare, underscoring the project’s impact and success in the field.
