CeADAR’s Lighthouse Projects Programme With a Double Shortlisting at Education Awards 2025

CeADAR is proud to announce that two of its Lighthouse Projects Programme initiatives have been shortlisted for the Irish Education Awards 2025:
- Best Industry/Business – Academic Collaboration: UCD, CeADAR – Lighthouse Projects Programme. The CeADAR Lighthouse Projects (LHP) Programme is at the core of CeADAR’s applied AI strategy. Designed to illuminate the path for industries looking to leverage artificial intelligence, the programme is structured into dynamic seasons, each focusing on transformative AI technologies across sectors such as manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and more. Through themed modules, LHP delivers deep technical insight, real-world applications, and hands-on collaboration between industry partners and CeADAR’s expert team. The programme’s shortlisting in the Best Industry/Business – Academic Collaboration category highlights its success in bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical industry adoption.
- Best Research Project: UCD, CeADAR – ReLeafHubs, led by the Lighthouse Projects Programme team. ReLeafHubs is an AI-based online tool designed to optimise the location and utilisation of remote working hubs. Using a combination of AI scoring, synthetic data, and AI digital twins technology, the tool helps reduce commutes, support local communities, sustainably boost productivity, and enhance work-life balance. This project aims to demonstrate how data-driven decision-making can directly improve the way we live and work.
This national recognition highlights the outstanding efforts of the Lighthouse Projects Programme team and their commitment to driving excellence across education, research, and industry collaboration.
The Education Awards 2025 celebrate the most forward-thinking individuals, institutions, and projects in Irish education. With categories designed to spotlight innovation, student success, and collaboration, the awards offer national exposure and validation by an esteemed panel of education experts.
This year’s black-tie awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at The Crowne Plaza, Santry, Dublin. Fingers crossed, we’re hoping the Lighthouse Projects Programme team brings home not one, but two awards for CeADAR!
