CeADAR Present at AI, Data and Robotics (ADRA) Forum 2025 in Norway

CeADAR’s Director of Innovation and Development Dr Ricardo Simon Carbajo was invited to speak on two panels at the AI Data and Robotics Forum in Norway as Project Coordinator of the MANOLO Project and as CeADAR’s EDIH for AI Programme Director.

The forum took pace in Stavanger, Norway, on the 23 rd and 24 th of September 2025, and was organized by ADRA, the AI Data Robotics Association in collaboration with the European Commission, with local host NORCE and support from SINTEF and EDIH Oceanopolis (https://adrforum.eu/adrforum-agenda-2025).

As the third edition of the ADRA Forum, ADRF25 brought together key stakeholders from industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, and innovators to explore the latest trends and strategies shaping the future of AI, Data, and Robotics. The first panel discussion was participated by four European Digital Innovation Hubs, where CeADAR was presented as Ireland’s EDIH in AI (https://ceadar.ie/edih/). The four members explored the best practices, types of services and barriers they are experiencing in helping both SMEs and PSOs adopt AI.

The second panel aggregated all the sister EU projects funded under the same Horizon Europe call focused on Trustworthy and Efficient AI in the Cloud-Edge Continuum. MANOLO (https://manolo-project.eu/), an €8.7 million project coordinated by CeADAR, is one of these projects which will deliver a complete stack of trustworthy algorithms and tools to help AI systems reach better efficiency and seamless optimization in their operations, resources and data required to train, deploy and run high-quality and lighter AI models in both centralised and cloud-edge distributed environments. Discussions revolved around how novel frameworks and technologies at the intersection of cloud-edge computing, trustworthy and efficient AI can help leverage European datasets to support a sustainable and responsible EU industry and economy.
