CeADAR Participates in PANORAIMA PROJECT

PANORAIMA: A New Chapter in Responsible AI Education

CeADAR’s Lighthouse Projects Programme is thrilled to announce its participation in PANORAIMA (Pan-European Network for Responsible Artificial Intelligence Multisector Masters), an ambitious EU-funded initiative under the DIGITAL-SKILLS-5 call. Officially launched on January 29-30 at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, PANORAIMA builds on the foundation set by the Human-Centred AI Master’s (HCAIM) project, expanding AI education beyond ICT students to professionals in diverse sectors.

The recently concluded HCAIM project laid the groundwork for a human-centred AI master’s program tailored to ICT students. PANORAIMA takes this vision further, extending AI education to healthcare, media, law, management, and finance professionals – key sectors where responsible AI integration is crucial.

The PANORAIMA project brings together 16 consortium members – 8 European universities, 4 research centers, and 4 SMEs – to develop AI curricula that align with evolving market needs. PANORAIMA will also introduce self-standing modules for upskilling and reskilling professionals, making AI education more accessible across Europe.

During the kick-off event, in parallel with strategic discussions, a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) took place between January 27-31, 2025. Students from the original HCAIM consortium universities participated in this hands-on learning experience. CeADAR’s Christina Todorova led a workshop on scientific poster development and supervised students’ work. Several thesis projects will now be guided by CeADAR researchers under PANORAIMA, and we look forward to sharing their progress with the CeADAR community.

With PANORAIMA now in full swing, exciting developments are on the horizon. Stay tuned for more updates on how this initiative is shaping the future of responsible AI education across Europe!
