This project is being delivered by 13 partners including CeADAR and the University of Galway.
ADT4Blue aims to advance the Blue Economy by supporting, promoting, and encouraging the adoption of Advanced Digital Technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and IoT—among students, alumni, and early-stage entrepreneurs. By fostering innovation and technological adoption, the project seeks to stimulate growth, sustainability, and competitiveness in maritime sectors through technology-driven solutions.
Methodology
Identifying local challenges in the blue‑economy regions and sourcing students, alumni and early‑stage entrepreneurs to address them.
Providing training and mentorship on business, solution architecture and development, focusing on data‑value chains and European data‑spaces.
Facilitating inter‑regional collaboration by connecting digital innovation hubs, investors, testbeds and incubators to share best practices.
