The fourth project meeting for Horizon Europe’s 2D-BioPAD was celebrated in March at Olomouc, Czech Republic. CeADAR’s contribution to the consortium, with the participation of Dr. Cristian Bosch, Dr. Polat Goktas and Dr. Ricardo Simon-Carbajo, was presented to the partners, consisting of an AI pipeline for the generation, scoring and binding prediction of aptamers to target proteins.
For 2D-BioPAD,in particular, this is an interesting approach towards designing the most appropriate aptamers for the biomarkers indicating the presenceof Alzheimer’s disease, which will be part of the biosensors composing the device intended to aid healthcare professionals aiming for an early diagnosis
