Online Course: AI for You: Introduction to AI and The EU AI Act
AI for You: Introduction to AI and The EU AI Act Launching Soon
The EU Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act, effective from 1 August 2024, introduces rules for the safe and responsible use of AI. The majority of organisations, particularly SMEs will experience minimal impact due to the lower risk nature of their AI systems. However, from 2 February 2025, all organisations using AI should enhance AI literacy among staff. To help with this the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment has worked with CeADAR to develop a simple online course.
This course will increase your awareness of AI, help you become AI literate, demystify the EU AI Act and the limited situations in which it applies, and support adoption of AI in your organisation.
Open to all Irish enterprises and public sector organisations, the self-paced online course includes 5 modules and will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
This course is fully funded, supported by the European Digital Innovation Hub for AI programme, funded by Enterprise Ireland and the European Commission.
