In October 2021, we started the lighthouse project’s season one with a project around “Semi-supervised and Self-supervised learning (SSL)“. The project, in the beginning, aimed to educate businesses on these emerging two areas of AI and inform them about their potential commercial applications. However, we decided later to focus only on self-supervised learning technology as it is vast enough to be covered in an individual project.
We planned to fulfil the goal of this project through a mix of articles, videos, workshops, short courses, and one-on-one meetings. On this page, we outline the progress through the course of the project and provide a catalogue of the outputs.
